| Bio: | This is an RPG journal. My real journal is tuulensisko at LJ. Icons are made by me. Character's name: Kendappa-ou (also known as 持国天 (Jikokuten)) Character's age: Err... 300+ years. I think she looks like a twentysomething. Character's gender: Female Series the character is from: RG Veda Point in canon they're being taken from: After her death Brief background: Kendappa is the daughter of the earlier Kendappa-ou and the earlier Jikokuten. She is widely known as the current Kendappa-ou, the leader of Kendappa clan, and the musician of the Emperor Taishakuten, but only Taishakuten knows of her secret position as his fourth and probably strongest Shitennou (General), Jikokuten. During the Heavenly War 300 years ago she was just a child. Her father was killed before her eyes by Taishakuten whom she immediately decides to serve unquestioningly, drawn to his power. She seems unmoved by her father's death. However, later she finds Souma, the last remaining member of the Souma clan which Taishakuten had ordered destroyed, and she falls in love with her and saves her despite her own master's will. She is also a friend of Yasha-ou (despite her bitter feelings because of her mother's love for him) and Karura-ou, both of which oppose Taishakuten and later are found out to be ones of the Six Stars, the ones destined to destroy Taishakuten. When Yasha-ou and Ashura are found in her lands she takes them in and hides them in her palace even though she is supposed to imprison them for betraying Taishakuten. She also does her best to help Karura-ou even though she also becomes an outlaw. Kendappa is also one of the Six Stars although that's only found out in the end. Yasha-ou asks her to join them so that they can destroy Taishakuten together but Kendappa refuses, finally telling them that she has always been on Taishakuten's side, even if it means that she has to fight her friends. In the end she kills Souma with her own hands and then leads Souma's hand to cut her own throat because she can't live without the one she loves the most. ... Since it's probably a good thing to note: she is a god, like most RG Veda's characters. Personality: Kendappa is a very decisive person. Even when her feelings are conflicted she knows exactly what she wants and has no regret in doing just that. She is definitely not an altruistic person. She appreciates strenght but also kindness even though the former is more important to her. She knows she is strong and that Taishakuten is even stronger which is why she appreciates Taishakuten more than anyone. She also knows she's not a nice person as she says to Tenou when she refuses his proposal. But she is very capable of loving and affection. She also does her best to help her friends as long as she can until she has to show her true colours. To let them live for another day more. Two most important things in her life are her loyalty to Taishakuten which she can't fail (unless someone else becomes more powerful) and her love toward Souma who she can't live without. When she is forced to oppose Souma to protect Taishakuten, she decides to kill Souma herself because she can't bear to watch someone kill her and then kill herself because her life would not be worth living without her. She loves music and always carries her harp with her, and she enjoys fighting although that's a rarer fun for her since she has had to keep a low profile. She's not an easy personality, not caring much about what others think about her or if she hurts their feelings. Souma seems to be the only one able to get her to behave a little bit better. She cares deeply about those who are important to her but has little thought for others unless they give her a reason to like them. Weak people only disgust her and she sees that her master's enemies must die even if she doesn't want them to die. | |||||||||
